Rhyme, Reason, and Time

Sing joy ,sing praise,
a time to unphrase,
for words have less meaning ,
and time has been stealing.

Sing tales of the past ,
when shadows are cast ,
the people shall see they last,
as I rhyme from the towering mast.

yet now is the time,
the return of my chime,
for good or for bad you'll still be glad.

Sing loud, sing cheer,
I will be clear,
I'll hold back time,
rephrase words and meaning,
they'll be no more stealing.....

The Devil went down to Borgo Pass

The Devil went down to Borgo Pass, and there he went to fill his glass , with Hatter's most delicious ale . Hatter yelled no ! and the demon went wild ! He demanded "why not? "and Hatter laughed, because , he said , you have a glass ! My ale is only served in buckets and down in one so if you wish to try then drink as I say . The demon laughed and said "fair dues !" and grabbed three buckets to prove he was no woose. Alas he did not know how strong the beer was and fell down dead after two, and the poor Hatter had the task of stuffing and mounting the beast in his pub. And there he stands propping up the bar in the gryphons wing....a testament to all that wish to try Hatter's famous bucket brew !

A tale of a wondering fruitbat and other tails

Not many folks know, that Hannienthel Harpfinger, actually found his way to Borgo pass by following a mischiovious fruit bat who's strange rustlings he could somehow hear.....unfortunately he came to find a mirror ...it looked plain enough ....not being the most selfconcious elf.....*snap crackle pop!* and hey presto the young bardling came to wonder the streets of Borgo Pass meeting all manner of folks promising adventures and work. But he knew what the right line of work was if he was to be able to do the things he loved. 5 years hard labour and smiting rats for the locals paid for a few trinkets not to mention the odd ballard for the odd passing lady ....well a slap to the face back then was as good as any gold coin....fame comes with time and expirience of course!
