To keep an acurate account of history, the terms age and time are used to describe a number of years when events happened.

Age of Light
The Age of Light was a time of new beginings. The land was young and not much was known about the surrounding lands. The town of Borgo Pass had just been settled and many adventurers were the only folk brave enough to travel the paths leading into the wilderness.
Time of the Sage
The Time of the Sage was a period when technology grew and exploration was at it's highest. Other villages and cities were found or built such as Ruby City, Rhiannon, Vinaux and Arcadia. Many crafters and merchants prospered as exploration revealed mineral deposits. Exploration also revealed many secrets about the lands and most of all, hostile creatures.
Age of Dragons
The town of Borgo Pass was a peaceful place until one night a flight of dragons attacked and destroyed many buildings and forcing the citizens of Borgo Pass to flee to Rhiannon. The Dragon attack ushered in the Age of Dragons and started a bloody seige that lasted many years, ending when a group of heroes finally defeated the dragons and reclaimed the town.
Time of Darkness
The Time of Darkness is a segment of time where the light of good was diminished by the number of evil acts committed by villains and by the rise of the Cult of Apep. This Age, or Time, followed the Age of Dragons and ushered in despair for many in the region.

Hail to thee, of the ages I know Times of happiness and of sorrow To thee I'll explain how the ages go And show the winds where smiles blow There once was a town with the name of Borgo Prosperous with travelers, heros, and foes This was a time I did not know But many stories help the picture show This was The Age of Light The land was fresh and full of life Spells ran rampant and shields shined bright And many songs filled the night After that came another age The Age of the Merchant and Sage Many items crafted and ideas scribbled on page Villans make a reputation as others build rage The next was The Age of the Dragon Ruby was the town to find your fun and everyone Rhiannon was the refuge but the people weren't done So they fought back to end The Age of the Dragon And so comes the time that it this Powerful magic only from a finger-tip The Time of darkness , the cultists hiss The times of long ago we miss, in darkness we sit
